Milford faced off against Enterprise who was the designated home team for the first game.  The Tigers started off down by one.  Milford then scored four runs to put them back on top.  The Wolves came back scoring three, tying it 4 to 4 in the bottom of the second.  It was scoreless in the third inning, but in the fourth, Milford scored one more ru making it 5 to 4.   Enterprise then scored four in the bottom of the sixth inning making it 8 to 5.  Milford then rallied together in the top of the seventh, scoring six big runs, and Enterprise could not keep up.  The Tigers ended up winning 11 to 9, sending the Tigers and the Wolves into another game.

The Tigers were the designated home team for the second game. Scoreless the first innings for both teams, the Tigers scored first in the second championship game in the bottom of the second, making it 2-0.  In the top of the fourth, the Wolves scored four runs and ended the Tigers' lead.  Score 4-2.  The next inning the Tigers rallied again scoring four runs. giving them the lead 6-4 heading into the final two innings.  The Tigers ended up scoring three more runs in the bottom of the sixth, making the score 9-4 and giving the Tigers a comfortable lead.  The five-point deficit was too much for the Wolves to come back.  The Milford Tigers finally won the 2A State Title that the seniors have been waiting for since freshman year.  The Tigers were the first school in Beaver County to win a State Championship in baseball.  It was the first State Championship in baseball for the Milford Tigers.
