Principal's Message

 Dear Parents and Students,

Thank you all for your support and dedication as we finished out the school year.  If any of you still have  Chromebooks and other materials that need to be turned in feel free to drop them by the school.  You may want to call the office at  (435) 387-2751  before you come by to make sure someone is here. We are implementing our summer work schedule and secretaries may not be in the office every day.

As we look towards next year we anticipate resuming school as normally scheduled.  I am excited about the new opportunities our students will have.  Long before the soft closure due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Milford High School was in the process of preparing to implement a blended learning instructional model.   The benefit of blended learning is that it provides the flexibility of online learning  many of you have grown to love, and combines it with the support of a traditional classroom teacher so students aren't on their own to figure out what to do.  Students continue to attend school daily, but they will be able to learn at their own pace.

The experience our teachers and students have had learning online the past few months have given us a great opportunity to see what works and what doesn't as we create the digital portion of blended learning.   Our staff is taking the information we have gained and using it to shape and improve the way instruction will be delivered in the fall.

I look forward to  having our students back in school this fall showing their Tiger Pride!
