The 2017-18 school year has definitely been one to remember. With many state titles, academic achievements, and so much more. MHS has risen to the top and set the expectations higher than ever. Here a a summary of all the major events that took place this year.

August: MHS Student Council kicked off the year by hosting the annual back to school pool party.

September:
The most loved week of the year: Homecoming was a total success. The week was filled with crazy dress up days and fun activities. Everyone went to the activities and made it a great time.

October: State Cross Country and State Volleyball took place in October. The Girls Cross Country team took State! They all worked hard, and we are very proud of them! The volleyball team also put in a tremendous amount of hard work and they ended with a fourth place.

November: The football team ended the season with a State Title. The first state title in 24 years. The state game was an amazing, and we are so proud of all the effort that the boys put in to win; they definitely deserved it.

December: MHS held our annual Christmas Dinner. We carried on the tradition of the Wish Assembly and The Lighted Christmas Parade put on by the city. We had a great turnout!

January:
The start of a new year was exactly what we needed to come back and prove that we are great. Both boys and girls basketball teams dominated all teams they played. And the wrestlers excelled in everything they did also. We held Spirit Week to show our support to the wrestlers and basketball players.

February: February was a crazy, busy time. State Drill and State Wrestling started off the month. The drill team did great at state, and we are very proud of them! The wrestling team also did amazingly well, and many individuals took home state medals. Boths boys and girls basketball had state games also. The boys battled hard and played good games. They placed eighth in the tournament. The girls truly defied the odds and made it to the championship game. The played an intense game against the Panguitch, Bobcats. With the score back and forth the entire game, the girls battled hard, and they never gave up. They ended up with second place. We are so very proud of them!

March: State FBLA was a success, and we had many people place high. The juniors held their annual Junior Prom, and everyone looked amazing. MHS also participated in “Battle of the Sexes,” which is a contest to see which schools in the state have the best school spirit.

April: Track, golf. baseball, and softball were already halfway through their seasons. All teams completely intensely. Both the softball and baseball teams made it to play in state games. We are proud of them!

May: Region Golf took place in May. Both girls and boys took first place! The Track team also took first in Region for boys and girls! It was very exciting. Many other major events will be taking place in May like: M-Day, State Golf, and State Track. We are very excited for the outcomes! Milford High School did not disappoint this year. We proved that we are great and can achieve anything that we work hard for. A big thanks to the faculty and staff and everyone that supported us this year!  boys took first place! The Track team also took first in Region for boys and girls! It was very exciting. Many other major events will be taking place in May like: M-Day, State Golf, and State Track. We are very excited for the outcomes!

Milford High School did not disappoint this year. We proved that we are great and can achieve anything that we work hard for. A big thanks to the faculty and staff and everyone that supported us this year!
